Welcome to the Martinsville Rescue Squad Web Site!

The Martinsville Rescue Squad is a nonprofit organization that provides prompt and effective emergency first aid, rescue, and transport services to the sick and injured. We primarily serve residents, workers, and visitors to Martinsville and the Washington Valley section of Bridgewater in New Jersey, but we provide "mutual aid" to all neighboring areas whenever they need us. We are a 100% volunteer organization and we provide our services free of charge 24 hours a day every day of the year.  Our operations are supported by donations from residents of the communities we serve.

Ever think about volunteering?

The members of our squad are your friends and neighbors.  They are volunteering so that when you need help, someone will be there.  Why don't you volunteer too?  There is a great sense of camaraderie among our members.  We all share the work load so that it is not too demanding on any one of us.  Every aspect of our business is performed by volunteers.  So while we need trained volunteers to respond to medical emergencies, we also need volunteers to help run and manage the "back office" part of our business.  If you think the time may be right to volunteer, check out our Volunteering page for more information.
